Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Clinical Director – Paediatric Dentistry within the Public Dental Service. The post is based at Stobhill Hospital and various PDS locations, with a fixed term of 12 months and a 8.30–4.30pm, Monday to Friday schedule.

The successful candidate will lead on paediatric dentistry care delivery, provide clinical leadership to the Paediatric Team, and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate training

Qualifications

• Lead on delivery of care to paediatric dentistry patients with complex needs.
• Provide clinical leadership to the Paediatric Team.
• Involved in development and delivery of primary care dental services.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of care to those accessing paediatric dentistry, whether registered, unregistered or on referral.
• Balance 3 administration sessions with 7 clinical sessions as a Senior Dental Officer.
• Engage with undergraduate and postgraduate training programmes.
