Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) invites applications for a rotational Dental Nurse at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School. You will provide chairside support across student clinics and specialist outpatient settings, working across multiple clinical departments as part of a rotational service.

The role requires GDC registration, CPD evidence and excellent interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality patient care within a busy Oral Health Directorate.

Qualifications

• Official registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) is required.
• Evidence of continued professional development (CPD) must be provided.
• Strong chairside dental nursing skills and practical clinical ability.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient chairside support across student clinics and specialist outpatient clinics within the Oral Health Directorate.
• Work flexibly across a variety of clinical departments as part of a rotational Dental Nursing service.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, students and colleagues.
