NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Clinical Director – Paediatric Dentistry within the Public Dental Service. The post is based at Stobhill Hospital and various PDS locations, with a fixed term of 12 months and a 8.30–4.30pm, Monday to Friday schedule.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit to the post of Assistant Clinical Director (Paediatric Dentistry) within the Public Dental Service in NHS GG&C. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and delivery of primary care dental services to Paediatric patients some with complex needs, within the health board area and provide clinical leadership to the Paediatric Team.
The successful applicant will be expected to lead on the delivery of care to those accessing paediatric dentistry whether registered, unregistered or on referral from General Dental Practitioners, Health Care Workers or secondary care services. This post involves 3 sessions of administration duties and 7 sessions of clinical cover as a Senior Dental Officer.
This post will also include involvement with the under graduate and post graduate training programmes. Improve access using innovative approaches and creative thinking to bolstering care.
Participate in regular contact with a range of partners including; Glasgow University and secondary care colleagues.
