Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a CSI Deputy Lead Radiographer to support and deputise for the CSI lead radiographer, ensuring a seamless Cross-Sectional Imaging service for paediatric patients.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, provide expert clinical and technical advice, participate in on-call rotas, staff development, audits, and drive quality improvement in CT and MRI imaging.

Competenze

• HCPC registration is required.
• BSc or equivalent in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Level 7 education or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a cross-sectional imaging department.
• Paediatric imaging experience.
• Extensive CT experience.
• Extensive MRI experience.

Mansioni

• Deliver a comprehensive CSI imaging service in conjunction with the Lead CSI radiographer.
• Deputise for the Lead CSI radiographer as appropriate including staff development and PDRs.
• Provide professional support and develop plans to improve patient care within professional standards.
• Monitor departmental protocols using audits and research to implement new procedures.
• Facilitate training and development of radiographers, students and imaging department assistants with the PEF.
• Act as an expert resource for clinical and technical advice to radiographers and clinical staff.
• Participate in research and audit within the specialty and MDT.
