Job summary

Nuffield Health's Woking Hospital is seeking a Lead Radiographer - CT to provide expert clinical leadership of the CT imaging service. You will oversee daily CT department operations, optimise workflows, and ensure patient-centred care in a private healthcare environment.

The role requires a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, HCPC registration, a postgraduate CT qualification, and strong leadership capabilities. A Radiation Protection Supervisor qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registered Radiographer.
• Postgraduate CT qualification (desirable).
• Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) certificate (desirable).
• Leadership/management certification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert CT radiography with safe, accurate imaging.
• Provide outstanding patient experience aligned with private healthcare standards.
• Lead on CT protocols and staff development.
• Oversee day-to-day CT department operations and throughput.
• Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R, IRR, CQC, and policies.
• Drive service improvement and audit cycles.
