Client Overview

The client is a happy 7-year-old girl living at home with her mum and older brothers. She spends weekends with her dad at his flat. She has a tracheostomy that must be kept clear at all times, with emergency equipment nearby. She attends primary school during the week. Despite delays in communication and cognition due to her condition, she can babble, smile, and enjoys socializing, especially with her family and familiar carers. She loves school activities, watching TV, and playing with her tablet.

What HFH Offers
  • Hourly pay rates between £14 - £17.93 per hour.
  • Ongoing care for clients requiring 24-hour support, with continuity of a small core team of regular staff.
  • Specialist carers work with one client per shift, without traveling between multiple homes. Shifts typically last 12 hours.
  • Work availability tailored to your schedule; average shifts are three per week (36 hours), earning approximately £500 - £555 weekly.
  • Estimated annual income ranges from £26,200 to £28,950 based on the typical work pattern.
  • All staff are employed directly via PAYE, ensuring proper tax management and compliance, without third-party agencies or self-employment concerns.

*Rates depend on shift patterns (days/nights/weekends) and include holiday pay.
