Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare in Solihull is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support a child with complex needs at their school. You will provide person-centred care, assist with mobility, nutrition, and daily activities, and help implement care plans in a supportive team.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months UK care experience, strong English, and an Enhanced DBS. Hours are 08:30–17:00 on Monday and 08:30–16:00 on Tuesday, with pay in the £12.21–£13.28 per hour range.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK care experience.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care at the service user's school.
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring health conditions.
• Follow individual care plans and promote independence.
• Support mobility, feeding, nutrition, and daily activities.
• Liaise with parents and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Engage children in play to promote development.
