Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Limited, part of CCH, is seeking a Paediatric Complex Care Support Worker to support an 8-year-old girl at home in Birmingham. You will deliver one-to-one clinical care and overnight respite to help the family stay rested and engaged.

Full specialist training and paid induction are provided. Prior experience with PEG feeding, suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilation and bowel care is essential, with a focus on reliable, child-centered care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience with PEG feeding, suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilation and bowel/catheter care is essential.
• Experience with children is beneficial but not essential.
• Willing to learn advanced clinical skills with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• One-to-one clinical care within the family home.
• Overnight respite care to support the family.
• Provide a warm, patient and attentive presence to engage the child.
