Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home, part of Acacium Group, is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Lead to manage a caseload of paediatric packages, field-based with travel across Leeds. This permanent full-time role includes on-call telephone support on a rota system and a salary of £49,000-£53,000 plus £3,000 car allowance.

You will undertake holistic nursing assessments, develop individualised care plans, lead clinical governance and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A person centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments in partnership with the client, their family and the care team.
• Develop individualised care plans in partnership with the client, their family and other healthcare professionals. Effectively communicate with staff on the clinical condition/diagnosis and treatment/discharge plans of clients and ensure accurate records are maintained by staff.
• Identify and manage risks as part of care provision and lead the investigation and resolution of clinical incidents, ensuring timely and thorough documentation.
• Support staff by delivering client-specific clinical training, mentorship and supervision by providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.

Experience and Qualifications We’re Looking For

• An Paediatric nursing degree with an active NMC pin
• Experience in complex or critical care with competencies in tracheostomy and ventilation
• Experience managing clinical teams
• Experience in a community setting
