Pulse Nursing at Home, part of Acacium Group, seeks a Paediatric Clinical Lead to manage paediatric packages in Reading and surrounding areas. The role is field-based with frequent travel and a rota for on-call support.

You will undertake holistic assessments, develop care plans, manage risks and lead clinical training, ensuring high-quality, safe home-based care 24/7 where required.

Qualifications

• Paediatric nursing qualification and active NMC pin.
• Experience in complex or critical paediatric care, including ventilation support.
• Proven track record in managing clinical teams.
• Experience delivering care in community settings.

We’re looking for a Paediatric Clinical Lead to join our team and manage a caseload of paediatric packages.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments in partnership with the client, their family and the care team.

Develop individualised care plans in partnership with the client, their family and other healthcare professionals. Effectively communicate with staff on the clinical condition/diagnosis and treatment/discharge plans of clients and ensure accurate records are maintained by staff.

Identify and manage risks as part of care provision and lead the investigation and resolution of clinical incidents, ensuring timely and thorough documentation.

Support staff by delivering client-specific clinical training, mentorship and supervision by providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.

This is a role where your nursing skills and knowledge will really make a difference.

What we’re looking for:

An Paediatric nursing degree with an active NMC pin

Experience in complex or critical care with competencies in tracheostomy and ventilation

Experience managing clinical teams

Experience in a community setting
