Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Lead to manage paediatric packages in a field-based role with frequent travel from Reading. You will lead a clinical team, conduct holistic assessments, and develop tailored care plans to support patients at home and in the community.

The role requires an active NMC pin, experience in complex or critical care (including tracheostomy and ventilation), and prior experience managing clinical teams within a community setting.

Qualifications

• Paediatric nursing degree with active NMC pin.
• Experience in complex or critical care with tracheostomy and ventilation.
• Experience managing clinical teams.
• Experience in a community setting.

Responsibilities

• Undertake initial holistic nursing assessments in partnership with the client, their family and the care team.
• Develop individualised care plans in partnership with the client, their family and other healthcare professionals.
• Effectively communicate with staff on the clinical condition/diagnosis and treatment/discharge plans of clients and ensure accurate records are maintained by staff.
• Identify and manage risks as part of care provision and lead the investigation and resolution of clinical incidents, ensuring timely and thorough documentation.
• Support staff by delivering client-specific clinical training, mentorship and supervision by providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
