Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Director – Cancer Transformation to lead the CCC Transformation Programme, shaping future paediatric cancer services. You will work with senior clinical, operational and executive leaders to drive delivery of programme milestones.

With a track record in NHS transformation and stakeholder engagement, you will coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and ensure benefits are realised across organisational boundaries.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience in programme delivery, transformation and/or operational management within the NHS.
• Experience of successful organisational change and development.
• Experience of working in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Experience of staff management at senior levels.
• Experience of senior level financial and budget management.
• Experience of programme implementation, operational readiness or service mobilisation.
• Experience of leading through influence within complex organisational and stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading delivery of the Children’s Cancer Centre Transformation Programme.
• Coordinating complex programme workstreams and strategic priorities.
• Supporting development of future models of care, workforce transformation and operational readiness.
• Managing programme governance, risks, dependencies, benefits and performance.
• Working with clinical, operational, corporate and external partners to deliver sustainable transformational change.
