Job summary

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a Paediatric Nurse to support children aged 3–16 during pre- and post-operative care within our ward and clinics across the hospital.

You will be joining a dedicated team that values empathy, attention to detail and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC) for paediatric nursing.
• Post-registration experience in paediatric care is preferred.
• Experience on surgical wards and caring for children aged 3–16.
• ILS or ALS certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Care for children aged 3–16 during pre/post operative stay and during clinics and procedures.
• Provide support to patients and their parents/guardians throughout the hospital journey.
• Deliver high-quality, clinically effective care as part of the ward team.
• Work across different specialist areas within the hospital.
