Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Band 7 advanced paediatric audiologists to join the paediatric audiology team. The roles combine specialist clinical work with team leadership, including line-managing Audiologists and Assistant Audiologists, and shaping new pathways.

The posts involve clinics in Banbury and other county locations, withflexible full-time or part-time working and a commitment to high standards of patient care and CPD.

Competenze

• BSc Audiology, PTP Healthcare Science (Audiology), MSc Audiology with CAC or HTS, or STP in neurosciences (audiology modality)
• Further specialist training or qualifications in paediatric audiology

Mansioni

• Provide highly specialised paediatric audiology services, including complex behavioural and objective assessments
• Fit, verify and rehabilitate hearing aids for babies, children and young people with a wide range of hearing needs
• Line-manage, supervise, coach and mentor a team of Audiologists and Assistant Audiologists
• Lead an aspect of the paediatric audiology service for children with permanent and temporary hearing loss
• Assess children of all ages, including those with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour or additional needs
• Manage own caseload and work autonomously
• Contribute to service improvement and the development of new pathways across Oxfordshire
• Hold clinics in Banbury and other county locations, including Brackley and Didcot
• Maintain high standards of patient care and professional practice
• Maintain continuous professional development
