Job summary

Imerys Minerals Ltd is seeking a Packing & Dispatch Operative in West Thurrock. The role is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £27,642.

You will operate big bagging and related equipment, bulk-load vehicles and maintain production and quality records in a safety-focused environment. Applicants should hold a Fork Lift Truck license and have experience with bagging, packing, and mixing plant equipment, including fault diagnosis via the HMI.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required.
• Experience operating big bagging, packing and mixing plant equipment with fault diagnosis via HMI.
• Proven ability to bulk load lorries, containers and tautliners safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of product specifications, quality testing, and raw material verification.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packing and mixing plant and diagnose faults via the HMI.
• Load bulk materials into lorries, containers and tautliners.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records and dispatch data.
• Ensure site safety rules are followed and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Manage palletiser operations and stock control to avoid production stoppages.
