Job summary

Imerys is seeking a Production Operator at Purfleet-on-Thames to operate big bagging and related equipment, and to load bulk materials into lorries and containers. You will maintain production records and follow safety rules to support efficient operations.

Experience with HMI fault diagnosis, stock control, and data entry, plus a valid Fork Lift Truck License, will help you contribute to continuous improvement and safe production flow at our site.

Qualifications

• Experience operating big bagging, packing and mixing plant equipment.
• Experience bulk loading of lorries, containers and tautliners.
• Forklift license is required.
• Strong record-keeping and data entry across production data.
• Knowledge of product specifications, quality testing and raw material verification.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packing and mixing plant including fault diagnosis via HMI.
• Bulk load lorries, containers and tautliners safely and efficiently.
• Maintain concise production logs and quality/environmental records.
• Adhere to all site safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Receive raw materials, transfer to silos, and conduct FG sampling as required.
• Record data for continuous improvement and dispatch data.
• Help ensure uninterrupted production flow and stock control.
