Based in our Innovation Centre in Aylesbury, as a Packaging Technologist, you will be part of our driven R&D team and will work closely with different teams such as Supply Chain & Operations, Product Development, and Marketing. Your role involves analyzing and resolving manufacturing issues to ensure suitable and efficient packaging solutions that meet high standards.

The R&D Team’s mission is to make products that people love. We create beautiful formulations and engage in original research, pioneering science to provide superior formulas with better results and premium experiences.

We have a long-term pipeline of innovative product launches, ambitious sustainability targets, and are expanding globally, offering new challenges across multiple projects.

In more detail, your role will include:

1. Manage and coordinate packaging projects to deliver the NPD and EPD product roadmap on time.
2. Be responsible for packaging activities within R&D, delivering project milestones through development, testing, and execution.
3. Develop and execute testing plans to minimize post-launch issues.
4. Communicate options and risks with stakeholders.
5. Assess packaging to ensure it is fit-for-purpose through testing and trials.
6. Apply objectives and strategic frameworks to packaging decisions.
7. Review existing packaging for improvements.
8. Serve as the key contact for packaging inquiries, working with Supply Chain to source and tool new options.
