Based in our Innovation Centre in Aylesbury, as a Packaging Technologist you will be part of our driven R&D team and will work closely with different teams such as Supply Chain & Operations, Product Development and Marketing; by analysing and resolving any manufacturing issues, you will guarantees suit-to-purpose and efficient packaging solutions that will deliver all our products to the highest standards.

We have a long term pipeline of innovative product launches and ambitious targets for our sustainability footprint and are rapidly entering new territories across the globe, giving our new Packaging Technologist the opportunity to take on new challenges across multiple projects.

In more detail your role will include:

  • Manage and coordinate packaging projects to deliver the NPD and EPD productroadmap on time and in full.
  • Be responsible for packaging activities within R&D, delivering project milestones, byfollowing best practices through development, testing and execution.
  • Develop and execute clear testing plans for your assigned projects to minimise anypost launch issues.
  • Communicate options and riskswith key stakeholders.
  • Assess packaging to ensure it is fit-for-purpose by completing testing and trials.
  • Ensure objectives and strategic frameworks are applied to packaging decisions.
  • Regularly reviews existing packaging, seeking improvements and updates wherenecessary.
  • Be the key point of contact for packaging enquiries, internally and externally. Workclosely with Supply Chain to source and tool new pack options.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Are a solutions provider with a high level of drive and personal commitment.
  • Have a can do/problem-solving, positive and proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable in a multi-stakeholder, multi function environment.
