Job summary

ProAmpac Grimsby Ltd is seeking a Production Scheduler for a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will coordinate production activity across Printing, Slitting and Bag Conversion, ensuring plans reflect demand, materials and capacity to maximise efficiency and on-time delivery.

You will work closely with Customer Service, Materials Control and Warehouse to minimise downtime, communicate changes, and drive operational performance through effective scheduling and planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning or manufacturing scheduling.
• Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and scheduling.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage schedules and material requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills to analyse operational data.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules across Printing, Slitting and Bag Conversion.
• Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Materials Control and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Balance demand, labour, capacity and materials to optimise performance.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules to respond to downtime, shortages, and changing priorities.
• Analyze capacity and inventory data to support decisions.
• Maintain ERP/MRP planning data and generate performance reports.
• Support OTIF, productivity and efficiency targets through planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve flow, reduce downtime and waste.
• Participate in daily operational reviews with department leads.
