Job summary

Netbox Recruitment is seeking a Production Scheduler for our Ashford site to translate demand into actionable factory schedules. You will optimise use of capacity, labour, materials and equipment, coordinating with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Engineering to maintain a smooth weekly plan.

You will monitor performance, manage changes, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation. The role demands strong planning, organisation and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Understanding of production processes, capacity planning and materials.
• Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving and changing priorities.
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems.
• Good standard of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and communicate accurate daily and weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate production across lines and equipment, considering labour and constraints.
• Work with Supply Chain and Warehouse to ensure ingredients, packaging and materials are available.
• Identify and highlight material shortages or potential production risks promptly.
• Monitor production against the schedule and adjust plans for delays or changes.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on planned versus actual output.
• Monitor schedule adherence and key variances.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve production flow and scheduling.
• Ensure production schedules are issued accurately and on time.
