Job summary

HEINEKEN UK Supply Chain in Manchester is hiring a Technical Operator for our packaging lines. You’ll approach the production line with a lean mindset, take ownership of your area and keep high-speed machinery running safely and efficiently. You will perform quality checks, manage stock using SAP, and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern. Salary from £31,808 rising to £35,342 with a £9,373 shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Familiar with working in a production facility or automated manufacturing.
• Good IT systems knowledge.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the running of high-speed packaging machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality checks and take corrective actions.
• Manage stock levels accurately using SAP.
• Use process knowledge to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to the Zero Accident Culture and TPM programme.
