Job summary

Organon is hiring a Continuous Improvement Operator for our manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. You will facilitate and govern lean activities within the Packaging team, focusing on data-driven line performance and root-cause investigations.

The role involves supporting training in continuous improvement principles and helping sustain a culture of lean in Packaging. This on-site position offers opportunities to contribute to a leading healthcare company's operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of packaging line technology.
• GCSE English and Maths required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and documentation skills.
• Experience in problem solving techniques (8 Steps of Problem Solving Training to be provided on the job).
• Experience of communicating effectively across multiple job functions and departments.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection management and analysis to help understand the Line performance.
• Ensure downtime escalation process adherence, alongside the coordination of actions to improve Line performance.
• Understanding of Packaging Line Operational Availability/performance metrics.
• Facilitation of deviations and complaint Investigations to ensure effective root cause analysis.
• Support the Training/Development of Others in continuous improvement principles including basic problem solving (5 whys, etc)
• Support the Lean Principles to help sustain a continuous improvement culture within the Packaging department.
