Job summary

Organon is seeking a Continuous Improvement Operator at our world-class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. You will facilitate and govern continuous improvement and lean activities within the Packaging team, driving line performance through data analysis and problem solving.

Key duties include data collection and downtime escalation, understanding packaging line availability metrics, and supporting training in lean principles to sustain a culture of continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Experience with packaging line operations and metrics.
• Ability to communicate across multiple functions and departments.
• Familiarity with basic problem-solving methods.
• Documentation and record-keeping skills.
• On-the-job training for 8 Steps of Problem Solving provided.

Organon is hiring for a Continuous Improvement Operator to join us at our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role you will be responsible for facilitation and governance of continuous improvement and lean activities within the Packaging team.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection management and analysis to help understand the Line performance.
• Ensure downtime escalation process adherence, alongside the coordination of actions to improve Line performance.
• Understanding of Packaging Line Operational Availability/performance metrics.
• Facilitation of deviations and complaint Investigations to ensure effective root cause analysis.
• Support the Training/Development of Others in continuous improvement principles including basic problem solving (5 whys, etc)
• Support the Lean Principles to help sustain a continuous improvement culture within the Packaging department.

Required Education, Experience And Skills

• Understanding of packaging line technology.
• GCSE level in English and Mathematics.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and documentation skills.
• Experience in problem solving techniques (8 Steps of Problem Solving Training to be provided on the job).
• Experience of communicating effectively across multiple job functions and departments.
