Job summary

[Unknown] is seeking a Packaging Technologist to drive packaging development from concept to launch in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. You will work with NPD, Process, Operations, Procurement and Commercial teams to source and implement packaging solutions that meet customer needs and sustainability goals.

You will ensure packaging materials are compliant, cost-effective and fit for purpose throughout the supply chain, while coordinating trials, testing and documentation to support

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging development for food products.
• Ability to analyse packaging performance and make data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent communication with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging development projects from concept through to launch.
• Develop packaging solutions to protect product quality and extend shelf life.
• Ensure packaging specs are accurate and communicated effectively.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Support sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and improve recyclability.
• Conduct packaging trials, validations and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, legislation and customer requirements.
• Oversee packaging artwork approvals and change management.
