Job summary

The Sterling Choice is seeking a hands-on Packaging Technologist for a site-based role in Seaham. You will be involved from concept through to launch, developing packaging, running trials and ensuring everything works smoothly in production.

You’ll collaborate with NPD, QA, Operations, suppliers and design agencies to get packaging right, solving issues and driving improvements on the factory floor.

Packaging Technologist - Food Manufacturing

Seaham (Site-based) | £35,000

Packaging looks simple when it’s sitting on a supermarket shelf. Getting it there is another story.

This is a hands-on Packaging Technologist role where you’ll be involved from concept through to launch - developing packaging, running trials, solving issues on site and making sure everything works properly in production.

You won’t just be managing specifications from behind a desk. You’ll be working closely with NPD, QA, Operations, suppliers and design agencies to get packaging right.
