Job summary

Gu is seeking a Packaging Technologist in Bishop’s Stortford to drive packaging from concept through to production. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Operations and suppliers to deliver innovative, production-ready packaging solutions.

The role focuses on improving quality, efficiency and cost, while ensuring compliance with packaging standards and safety requirements. A packaging-related degree and strong problem-solving skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a packaging role within the food industry.
• Degree in Packaging, Packaging Design or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of packaging processes, printing and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with passion for packaging innovation.
• Energetic, collaborative, curious and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in packaging.
• Improve quality, efficiency and cost of packaging processes.
• Troubleshoot and solve packaging challenges.
