Job summary

PZ Cussons is seeking a Packaging Development Technologist to join our R&D team in Manchester or London. This role focuses on packaging innovation, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

You will collaborate across Marketing, Brand, Product Development, Supply Chain, Quality and Regulatory to translate concepts into executable packaging solutions, conduct feasibility studies, document tests, and support trials through to commercialisation.

Qualifications

• Deliver packaging solutions that meet brand, consumer, cost, quality and sustainability requirements.
• Work with Marketing and Brand teams to translate packaging concepts into executable solutions.
• Collaborate with Global Brand Building and external suppliers to support packaging innovation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packaging solutions that meet brand, consumer, cost, quality, and sustainability requirements.
• Support artwork creation, review, and approval, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment to specifications.
• Perform artwork conformance checks, managing iterations and approvals using artwork management systems.
• Develop and support 3D packaging changes, including packs, components and material changes.
