Job summary

THG Nutrition is seeking a Packaging Development Executive to source and deliver innovative packaging for new product launches. You’ll support sustainability goals, work with brand teams to chart an innovation pipeline, and monitor overseas trends for global packaging strategy.

Ideal candidates will have packaging qualifications, experience in FMCG, and a strong eye for design and cost efficiency. Manchester-based, hybrid options may apply.

Qualifications

• Packaging Diploma qualification or similar Degree in Food Technology or Nutrition.
• Basic understanding of packaging and its functionality requirements.
• Experience in a FMCG environment.
• Interest in innovative packaging design.
• Clear and concise communicator.
• Ability to meet time-critical deadlines.
• Team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Source and deliver packaging solutions across all NPD launches.
• Support the Packaging Development Manager on delivering Sustainability Strategy across pack formats.
• Collaborate with brand, marketing and influencer teams to map an innovation pipeline.
• Understand local trends in overseas territories to support packaging globally.
• Review post-launch feedback to drive continuous improvement.
