Job summary

Kingfisher plc is seeking a Packaging Compliance Manager (maternity cover, fixed term) to lead the packaging data compliance strategy and data validation. You will work with banners to ensure accurate tax calculations and maximise exemptions while driving governance, audits and continuous improvement across the packaging function.

The role requires proven leadership, data analysis skills, and a strong understanding of packaging data and quality.

• Knowledge of Packaging Data and Quality practices.
• Experience in budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the packaging data compliance strategy and data validation processes.
• Collaborate with Retail Banners to ensure compliance and mitigate packaging-related issues.
• Define statements of work for packaging data applications and related developments.
• Monitor packaging data performance and report against KPIs for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate packaging audits, ensuring evidence and actions are tracked and completed.
• Build cross-functional relationships across packaging, procurement and operations to embed data compliance.
• Analyse key compliance data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
• Provide operational support to the Packaging function and embed compliance in day-to-day work.
• Support DoC requirement implementation through documentation review and maintenance.
• Continue expanding packaging knowledge through training and collaboration with SMEs.
