Job description

Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant - office based in Dronfield (with some travel to the Peak District)

Are you an experienced PA or Executive Assistant who enjoys being the trusted right hand to a founder/owner?

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and discreet Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Managing Director of an established and successful specialist professional services consultancy.

This is a varied role where no two days will be the same. You'll play an important part in keeping the Managing Director organised, managing competing priorities and ensuring both business and occasional private matters run smoothly.

We're looking for someone who can think ahead, use their initiative and confidently take ownership rather than simply waiting to be asked.

The Role
  • Managing a busy diary, appointments and priorities
  • Organising meetings and ensuring actions are followed through
  • Coordinating travel, itineraries and logistics
  • Managing communications and acting as a key point of contact
  • Preparing meeting information and taking minutes where required
  • Tracking deadlines, tasks and outstanding actions
  • Supporting company events and business activities
  • Assisting with property-related administration and coordination
  • Providing support with occasional private matters
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion
  • Providing wider administrative support where required

A key part of the role will be anticipating what needs to happen next, keeping on top of priorities and helping to make the Managing Director's working day as organised and effective as possible.

About You
  • Previous experience as a PA, Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative support role
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to confidently manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive approach and the confidence to use your own initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • A calm, adaptable and dependable approach
  • Experience supporting a Managing Director, CEO or business owner would be particularly advantageous.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a business and takes pride in making things happen behind the scenes.

If you're an experienced PA or EA looking for a varied role where you can build a trusted working relationship and make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you
