Job summary

ThreeSixty Talent is seeking an experienced P6 Planner to support major power, renewables and T&D projects in Scotland. You will develop and maintain programmes using Primavera P6, and liaise with project managers, engineers and site teams to keep schedules accurate.

This long-term contract offers a hybrid working model (2/3 split), an immediate start, and Outside IR35 status. Candidates with main contractor/Tier 1 experience and strong planning skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a P6 Planner using Primavera P6.
• Experience within power, renewables, or T&D projects.
• Strong understanding of project planning and programme management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project delivery teams.
• Availability for immediate start or short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project programmes using Primavera P6.

P6 Planner - Power / Renewables / Transmission & Distribution

Location: Scotland

Contract: Long-term contract

Rate: £480 - £530 per day

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2/3 split

Start Date: Immediate - interviews taking place this week

The Role

We are currently recruiting for experienced P6 Planners to support major projects across the power, renewables and transmission and distribution (T&D) sectors in Scotland.

This is a long-term contract opportunity suited to planners with strong experience in complex infrastructure or energy projects, ideally gained within a main contractor or Tier 1 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project programmes using Primavera P6.


• Monitor project progress against agreed schedules, identifying delays, risks and critical path impacts.


• Work closely with project managers, engineering teams and site personnel to ensure programme accuracy.


• Produce progress reports, programme updates and planning forecasts.


• Identify programme risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation and recovery planning.


• Support project delivery through effective planning, scheduling and coordination.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a P6 Planner using Primavera P6.


• Experience within power, renewables, or transmission and distribution (T&D) projects.


• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling and programme management.


• Ability to work collaboratively with project delivery teams.


• Availability for an immediate start or short notice period.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working for a main contractor or Tier 1 organisation.


• Experience on large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.


• Experience working within a hybrid project environment.
