Job summary

The Very Group is seeking a proactive Accounts Payable professional to join our hybrid team in the UK. You will create supplier accounts in our ERP, confirm new suppliers, and maintain supplier master data with close collaboration to Procurement and Supplier Management.

You will handle data with Excel, communicate clearly with suppliers, and drive process improvements while ensuring adherence to P2P policies. Applicants should be comfortable with a flexible, hybrid work model and UK locale.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Purchase-to-Pay, Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger environment.
• Strong Excel skills with large data volumes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage new supplier accounts in the ERP system.
• Send new account confirmations to suppliers.
• Maintain and update supplier master data in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Supplier Management to resolve data issues.
• Contact suppliers directly for information as part of due diligence.
• Liaise with technical colleagues if issues arise.
• Follow P2P policies and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
