Job summary

The Very Group is seeking an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger assistant in Liverpool to create supplier accounts in our ERP, maintain supplier master data, and support procurement with data accuracy. You will contact suppliers, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure adherence to P2P policies.

Ideal candidates have experience in P2P or AP, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. A proactive approach and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase-to-Pay, Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger environment.
• Strong Excel skills and handling large data volumes.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion P2P processes.

Responsibilities

• Creating new supplier accounts in our ERP system.
• Sending new account confirmations to new suppliers.
• Maintaining and updating supplier master data within the ERP system.
• Collaborating with internal Procurement and Supplier Management to resolve data issues.
• Contactting suppliers directly for information as part of due diligence.
• Liaising with technical colleagues if issues arise.
• Following P2P policies, procedures and best practice to ensure compliance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
