Job summary

The Profs is a leading EdTech tutoring company delivering Oxford and Cambridge admissions coaching to students worldwide. We seek experienced Oxbridge admissions tutors with strong academic backgrounds to join our University Admissions Branch.

You will design bespoke admissions programs, manage client portfolios, and provide regular progress updates to client managers, helping students secure places at top universities.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree 2.1 or higher.
• Attended Oxford or Cambridge University.
• Experience planning bespoke admissions programmes.
• Proven success with Oxbridge admissions.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

We have services and platforms ranging from online tutoring to university application help. As a predominantly B2C company, we serve thousands of tutors and tens of thousands of students globally, but we also have a number of B2B clients including the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London among others.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
