Job summary

The Profs seeks an experienced Oxbridge admissions tutor to join its University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended Oxford or Cambridge and will bring extensive admissions tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

You will prepare bespoke admissions packages, manage a portfolio of clients, and provide progress updates to client managers in a fast‑growing EdTech environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a 2:1 or higher degree.
• Educated at Oxford or Cambridge University.
• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• Strong knowledge of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test prep and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with Oxbridge admissions.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

• Manage a portfolio of clients and regularly feed back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
