Job summary

The Profs is seeking an Oxbridge admissions tutor to join its University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate attended Oxford or Cambridge and has substantial admissions teaching experience.

You will deliver bespoke admissions programmes and guide students through personal statement support, test prep, and mock interviews. Responsibilities include preparing tailored packages for high-competition undergraduate and postgraduate applications and communicating progress updates to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• Thorough knowledge of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.

• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
