Job summary

The Profs is an award-winning EdTech company offering tutoring to clients and institutions worldwide. We are seeking Oxbridge admissions tutors to join our University Admissions Branch and deliver bespoke tutoring packages for highly competitive courses.

The ideal candidate has attended Oxford or Cambridge, with substantial admissions tutoring experience and a strong academic background. You will manage a portfolio of students and provide progress updates to clients.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.
• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for highly competitive courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

As a predominantly B2C company, we serve thousands of tutors and tens of thousands of students globally, but we also have a number of B2B clients including the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London among others.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
