Job summary

The Profs is seeking Oxbridge admissions tutors to join our award-winning University Admissions Branch. You will draw on your Oxford or Cambridge background and extensive admissions tutoring experience to craft bespoke coaching for high-achieving applicants.

You will deliver personalised packages, coach interview skills, and guide students through the Oxbridge process with empathy, organisation, and clear communication to support successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke admissions programmes.
• In-depth knowledge of Oxbridge admissions processes including personal statement support and interview preparation.
• Proven success guiding students through Oxbridge applications.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

As a predominantly B2C company, we serve thousands of tutors and tens of thousands of students globally, but we also have a number of B2B clients including the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London among others.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
