Job summary

The Profs in the United Kingdom is seeking an Oxbridge admissions tutor to join our award-winning University Admissions Branch. You will have attended Oxford or Cambridge and bring considerable admissions teaching experience to develop bespoke support for high-achieving applicants.

Responsibilities include preparing personalised admissions packages for highly competitive courses and managing a portfolio of clients, feeding progress updates to client managers to ensure excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a 2:1 or higher and a strong academic record.
• Educated at Oxford or Cambridge University.
• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• Solid understanding of Oxbridge admissions process and support.
• Proven success assisting students through Oxbridge admissions.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, empathy and patience.

About the Role

We are looking for Oxbridge admissions tutors to work on our award winning University Admissions Branch. The ideal candidate will have attended either Oxford or Cambridge Universities, you will also have considerable admissions teaching/tutoring experience and a strong academic background.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering bespoke admissions packages for students applying for highly competitive undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and regularly feeding back updates on students' progress to relevant client managers.

Qualifications

• A graduate degree of 2.1 or higher.
• Educated at either Oxford or Cambridge University.

Required Skills

• Experience planning and delivering bespoke one-to-one admissions programmes.
• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Oxbridge admissions process including personal statement support, admissions test preparation and mock interview facilitation.
• Proven success assisting students with the Oxbridge admissions process.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
• High level of interpersonal skills, especially empathy and patience.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working internally in the admissions teams at either Oxford or Cambridge.
• Experience of online tutoring.
• A Masters Degree.
• Over 2 years tutoring/teaching experience.
