Job summary

The CFO HQ in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager in Tadworth to own the day-to-day finance function within a growing SME. You will lead budgets, forecasts and cashflow, deliver timely management accounts, and provide clear financial reporting to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in finance, ACCA/CIMA qualification, and strong experience with Xero in a larger organisation.

Qualifications

8+ years in finance or accounting.
Fully qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA.
Budget management, forecasting and cashflow experience.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and end-to-end finance experience.
Proven experience with Xero.
Strong attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

Managing budgets, including preparation, monitoring expenditure and analysing variances.
Preparing and maintaining financial forecasts for planning.
Cashflow management including monitoring positions and forecasts.
Overseeing day-to-day finance function and timely reporting.
Preparing monthly management accounts and reconciliations.
Overseeing VAT returns, payroll coordination and statutory reporting.
Maintaining and improving financial controls and procedures.
Providing accurate information and reports to senior leadership.
Supporting growth by keeping finance fit for purpose.
