Job summary

Alutiiq, LLC is seeking a subject matter expert to support the Office of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO/FAC). You will advise on mechanical, electrical, civil and architectural systems, oversee planning and cost analyses, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliant execution of facilities projects.

Strong PM skills and AutoCAD proficiency are essential. The role requires collaboration with senior leadership and multi-disciplinary teams to meet tight deadlines and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters license will be considered if qualified.
• Working knowledge of MS Project is required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate mission vehicles.
• Strong graphic and visualization skills with AutoCAD and related software.
• Experience with project management concepts to guide OBO/FAC and post Facility Management.
• Experience overseeing mechanical project planning and construction document development.
• Knowledge of equipment procurement regulations for embassy operations.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mechanical, electrical, civil and architectural design reviews and project planning.
• Develop and review planning documents; evaluate building code compliance and concepts.
• Perform peer reviews of plans and technical reports.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure contract stipulations are followed.
• Provide guidance to staff and conduct annual training as required.
