Job summary

Alutiiq, LLC is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic-HVAC Technician II to perform skilled installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service and repair of facilities HVAC systems, safety equipment and elevators.

Responsibilities include monitoring heating and cooling with the energy management system, troubleshooting alarms, performing preventive maintenance per manufacturers’ procedures and CMMS, and keeping accurate records of systems and parts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and OSHA/local safety standards.
• Project management concepts and best practices for facilities maintenance.
• Maintenance management principles for planning/execution of operations.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled mechanical maintenance on facilities systems, including pumps, motors, and compressors.
• Monitor heating/cooling systems by interpreting energy management alarms and differential measurements.
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer procedures and CMMS instructions; maintain records.
• Estimate repair or replacement costs and plan materials and methods.
• Provide leadership and coordinate activities for large single or multi-project efforts.
