Job summary

Avenues in West Malling is seeking a compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team, caring for seven adults with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern. This is a part-time role (30 hours per week) from 10pm to 7am, with a driving licence required.

You will provide overnight support, conduct wellbeing checks, assist with personal care as needed, support with evening and morning routines, and help maintain a safe, welcoming home environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the people we support
• Carry out regular wellbeing checks and respond to any support needs during the night
• Deliver respectful, person-centred personal care where required
• Support with evening and morning routines, helping people prepare for bed and start their day
• Complete accurate records and handovers to the daytime team
• Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming home environment
• Promote dignity, independence and choice at all times
