We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Waking Night Support Worker to join our team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and additional support needs in a supported living environment.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring people's safety, wellbeing, and comfort throughout the night. You will provide person-centred support, respond to individual needs, complete regular checks, administer medication when required, and maintain accurate records.
This is a waking night support worker position, meaning you will remain awake and alert throughout the shift.
Providing person-centred support to individuals during the night.
Ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of the people we support.
Completing regular welfare and wellbeing checks.
Supporting individuals who may wake during the night and require reassurance or assistance.
Administering and recording medication in line with policies and procedures.
Supporting with personal care where required.
Monitoring and reporting health concerns, incidents, or changes in wellbeing.
Completing accurate and detailed care records and handovers.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Working in accordance with safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC regulations.
