Avon Support Limited in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and additional support needs in a supported living environment.

The role involves staying awake overnight, providing person-centred care, administering medication when required, and maintaining accurate records. You will help ensure safety, wellbeing, and comfort throughout the night while following safeguarding and health & safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred support to individuals during the night.
• Ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of the people we support.
• Completing regular welfare and wellbeing checks.
• Supporting individuals who may wake during the night and require reassurance or assistance.
• Administering and recording medication in line with policies and procedures.
• Supporting with personal care where required.
• Monitoring and reporting health concerns, incidents, or changes in wellbeing.
• Completing accurate and detailed care records and handovers.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Working in accordance with safeguarding, health and safety, and CQC regulations.
