Job summary

Cherry Trees East Clandon is recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to care for children in a night-time setting. You will be responsible for welfare checks, settling children back to sleep, and following individual care plans.

The role is part-time, with shifts from 9:00pm to 7:00am (30 hours across 3 nights per week). Benefits include enhanced DBS, pension, and a supportive team in Surrey.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient approach to children.
• Reliable and trustworthy with good communication.
• Able to stay calm during night shifts and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welfare checks at least every 15 minutes.
• Comfort and settle children overnight.
• Follow care plans and medical guidance for each child.
• Complete laundry and light food preparation as needed.
• Clean and maintain communal areas.
