Job summary

Lindsey Court is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to join a dedicated team delivering person-centred care overnight. You will provide calm, reassuring support throughout the night and help maintain a safe environment.

Experience in care, strong communication and a collaborative approach with colleagues are essential. Full training and ongoing support are provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care or support sector.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
• Understand behaviours that may challenge and mental health needs.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Patient, proactive and pragmatic.
• Work well as part of a close-knit team.
• Be consistent, dependable and reliable.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to follow support plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time support throughout the night.
• Maintain a safe, calm and supportive environment.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships.
• Support personal care and individual routines when required.
• Respond to changing needs during the night.
• Support individuals with complex needs.
• Follow individual support plans and guidance.
• Record relevant information and complete required documentation.
• Working alongside colleagues and PBS leads to support positive outcomes.
