Job summary

Miller & Carter is seeking a Night Porter for overnight shifts (11pm–7am, site dependent) based in the United Kingdom. DBS checks are part of recruitment. You will welcome guests, check in late arrivals, and assist with front-of-house duties to ensure a safe, clean environment.

You’ll handle guest inquiries, maintain security, and support the team across breakfast and meeting room setups. This role requires independent working and a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for late arrivals and walk-ins.
• Provide a warm, friendly welcome to all guests.
• Assist with front-of-house tasks, breakfast areas, and room setup.
• Ensure guest and business safety and security at all times.
• Evacuate guests and staff safely in case of fire.
• Answer calls and resolve guest complaints to ensure a great stay.
