Job summary

Cherry Trees provides specialist, home-from-home care for children with complex disabilities across our two homes in Surrey and Hampshire. We are seeking an overnight care worker to support residents, providing direct care and following care plans to ensure wellbeing.

You will perform welfare checks, complete daily reports, and hand over clearly to the day team. The role requires safeguarding commitment, calmness under pressure, and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Welfare checks every night and as required
• Follow care plans and medical guidance for each child
• Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Direct care to children during night shifts
• Complete daily reports and record incidents or medications given; hand over to day team in the morning
