Job summary

NurtureCare is seeking a compassionate Female Night Care Assistant to support a young child with complex medical needs at her Nottingham family home. The role runs Thursday and Friday nights, 10:00pm–7:00am, with occasional additional shifts.

You will monitor overnight, administer PEG medication, manage feeds, provide NIV when required, chest physiotherapy, and personal care while maintaining care records. Training will be provided; enhanced DBS and UK right to work required.

Qualifications

• Experience in children's complex care is desirable but not essential.
• Full training will be provided in PEG feeding and medication administration.
• NIV use and respiratory care, chest physiotherapy techniques, and all aspects of the individual's care plan.

Responsibilities

• Overnight observation and monitoring.
• Administration of medication via PEG and managing PEG feeds.
• Basic respiratory support including occasional NIV use.
• Chest physiotherapy and personal care during the night.
• Maintaining accurate care records and communicating concerns to the family.
